South African’s ABSA Premiership side Bloemfontein Celtic has release Zebras goal keeper, Kabelo Dambe after two seasons at the club.

The 29-year-old joined the club on a two-year , but has struggled for game-time, as legendary keeper; Patrick Tignyemb was the preferred choice for the number one gloves man. Dambe made just two league appearances in his stay at Celtic. He was tipped to be Siwelele’s first choice goalkeeper after the departure of Tignyemb in June.

However, the club has put their faith in the young goal minders in their ranks. South Africa’s Under-23 goalkeeper, Mondli Mpoto who joined in January is tipped to be first choice in the poles. The 20-year-old faces competition from 22-year-old Sipho Chaine while another option will come from the club’s development team.
