FRANCISTOWN: TAFIC chairperson, Carlos Sebina has remained cagey on the future of coach, Elias Chinyemba who helped the team gain promotion back to the BTC Premiership.

This is the second time Chinyemba has helped TAFIC to return to the top flight. He was appointed TAFIC’s assistant coach in 2016, and immediately helped the team gain promotion to the Premiership.

Then he did not have the necessary qualifications to coach in the top league.   He has now acquired a CAF B coaching licence, which is a pre-requisite for one to coach in the Premier League. Chinyemba’s future at TAFIC has dominated headlines in recent weeks. There are reports that his days at the club are numbered.
