Slow start for COSAFA sides at AFCON

Southern African sides are finding the going tough at the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations finals in Egypt, after all five failed to register a win in round one of the matches.

Zimbabwe's Warriors were the first team to go down, losing 1-0 to hosts Egypt on the opening day of the tournament on Friday.

Madagascar became the first COSAFA member to register a point with a valiant display in a 2-2 draw against Guinea on Saturday.
