Letshwiti welcomes FIFA takeover of CAF

Botswana Football Association (BFA) president, Maclean Letshwiti has welcomed FIFAs decision to take over the running of CAF affairs.

FIFA and CAF released a joint statement yesterday, announcing that the world soccer body is taking control of the continent’s affairs. Letshwiti hailed the step, and said it was in the right direction in a bid to cleanse the game. to page 51

“I support the initiative. I congratulate the president of CAF who has seen it fit that this is done in the best interest of the game,” Letshwiti said.
