With the political space heating up, the Real Alternative Party (RAP) launched its manifesto over the weekend. The launch, which had less than 50 attendants, left people in stitches over its spectacular promises.

Despite the poor attendance, the promises RAP made reached over 200,000 people through our sister publication, Mmegi Facebook page.

Some of the promises made by RAP chairperson, Gaontebale Mokgosi that sent social media into a frenzy include pledges to raise the minimum wage to P6,500, the unemployment allowance of P3,250 and giving out P800 monthly for each child born.
