Six suspected armed robbers have been arrested in connection with the recent spate of armed robberies, which occurred in Gaborone and its surrounding areas.

The six, Tebogo Mhale, 33, Thabang Gabakgore, 28, Kabalano Timothy Mothusi, 33, Mooketsi Moeng, 36, Joseph Thabo Gakepina, 36 and Oteng Phillip Tshegofatso, 25, were arraigned today before the Broadhurst Magistrate’s Court.

Early this week the police arrested three of lot after an alleged armed robbery took place at Builderspot hardware in Kopong village where they are suspected to have stolen money amounting to P10,000.
