Suspended Choppies CEO, Ramachandran Ottapathu says he has already engaged his lawyers to contest his suspension from the regional grocer.

The Choppies board announced Ottapathu's suspension to investors this afternoon.

 “This was premeditated at the board.  We went back and forth and it's not a surprise.
