Funeral Plans Ongoing For AP's Mothudi

Alliance for Progressives (AP) is mourning the passing on of its Women’s League president, Joyce Mothudi. The veteran politician passed away on Thursday last week after being in and out of the hospital early this year.

AP Secretary General, Phenyo Butale said Mothudi’s passing hurt them greatly as she was an asset to the party and the nation.

“She has not been well for some time, but we never thought she was going to leave us. She was a fighter. Her passing is a huge loss to the whole country. Mothudi joined politics at a tender age and contributed a lot to women participation and empowerment over the years,” he said.
