The annual cultural Son of The Soil (SOTS) is back again. This time it is bigger and better. The event would be celebrating its 10th year anniversary and will be hosted for three days for the first time in the history of its existence.

During an interview with Showbiz, SOTS Public Relations Officer, Pontsho Pusoetsile, said the event would start on Friday until March 2, 2014. Even though the event would commence on Friday until Sunday, Pusoetsile said that the main event would be held on Saturday as usual. He said that it would be the same as previous years though there would be a few things to spice it up.

He said that throughout the three days, the festivities would be filled with traditional song, dance and games.  People would also be treated to tasty traditional dishes.  This would give them an opportunity to sample healthy Setswana meals. Pusoetsile said that SOTS is participatory in nature, so all hands have to be on deck.
