BPL 'washes hands' off Galaxy protest

A protest by league side, Jwaneng Galaxy over a game between titleholders, Township Rollers and Miscellaneous has been referred to the Botswana Football Association (BFA) after the Premier League office washed its hands off the matter.

Galaxy on Tuesday lodged a protest on the rescheduled league fixture between Rollers and Miscellaneous that was played at the Lobatse Sports Complex.

In a letter written to the Botswana Premier League (BPL) on Tuesday, Galaxy said the match was ‘unlawful and improperly fixtured’ and demanded the last round of league games to be suspended to allow a decision on the matter.
