A young woman Lesego Montsho, 22, has written a book titled Insights of An X-Chromosomed Idealist, her third.
In this book, she upsurges frames of mind for people living in the digital age to lead meaningful lives and to be aligned with the digital aspects and quality of life.
The author told Arts & Culture that 80% of the book aims at empowering women.
“Women have the power of building, so I believe that women can lead and most importantly learn the art of appreciating each other so as to enhance change in our world,” she said.
For someone who is passion-driven like Montsho, she says she published her first book in 2016 on Amazon.com and then published her second one the following year on the same website.
With this being her first tangible book, her authorship journey began at the age of 18. Her first book was a non-fiction chronicle entitled Journey Of A Refined Visionary and since then, writing books became an endless pursuit for Montsho.
Montsho considers Insight Of An X-Chromosomed Idealist to be her debut project because she has invested a lot of time in the book.
She said the awakening, metaphysical, thought-provoking and ground-breaking book challenges the status and prompts people to lead their lives boldly, committed and enthusiastically.
The enthusiastic writer is conscious of the fact that there are
However, she stated that even though some write so well, there is still a lack in their region of publishing companies that sincerely address the needs of authors and writers.
Upon realising this scarcity of publishing houses Montsho took it upon herself to be the solution with one of her cooperate associates and started a publishing corporation called Success Press International. This is meant to provide pre-authorship services and pro-authorship to both existing and aspirant authors and better redesign the quality of literature in Botswana.
The media and tech aspiring mogul is also an academic who is currently pursuing her second degree at the University of Botswana and was also listed amongst the most intelligent young women under 25 in Africa.
She was also honoured with an award in the category of the best academic excellence at the Boteti Youth Awards 2018.
Montsho said she recently received a call that explained that she was once again nominated for the same award, but this time at a national level.
She stated that her book sells like fat-cakes amongst young people in colleges, universities and those in the corporate world.
