President Mokgweetsi Masisi has this afternoon travelled to Serowe to offer condolences to the family of Goaitsewe Borethe Tshoagong at Goo Modikwana ward, Mmegi has learnt.

According to the government spokesperson Andrew Sesinyi, Tshoagong, who was born in 1934, was a long serving civil servant and a former secretary of kgosi Tshekedi Khama at Pilikwe.

Last weekend various speakers at a meeting addressed by the former president Ian Khama in the village, bitterly condemned president Masisi.
