TRACE offers TV channels, FM radio, mobile services, and events to millennials and young adults.  TRACE Africa takes pride in being an authority on what is hot on the continent and gives artists from the continent a world-class platform.

The partnership will contribute to the development of the local industry and give Batswana artists a platform to shine on the world stage. TRACE team will be on-hand at the festival to speak to some of Botswana’s hottest artists and GIMC attendees.

Through the event’s Facebook page, people are now expected to vote for the local song to be used for a TV advert on Trace Urban and Trace Africa on DStv.

“We want the rest of the world to hear and love the sound of BW music,” read a GIMC Facebook post.

people will be looking forward to yet another edition of the GIMC Music festival on September 7, 2019. Local acts such as ATI, Vee Mampeezy and Mjamaica have already been confirmed as some of the festival’s performers.

The annual premier arts festival brings energising and uplifting artists who celebrate the music and art of Botswana and beyond.  This year the event has added another segment called GIMC family fun day and it will be held at Gaborone Club on May 4, 2019.

The event will feature among others the bag jump, which is a fun and adrenaline-packed activity for thrill seekers and families alike.

There will also be performances from local DJs such as Ricky Lamar, DJ Fndo Fire, Hpex Guru and many more.

The tickets for adults sell at P100 and children under the age of 12 will access the event for free.
