Gunfight lands man in hospital

A Letlhakane man has been hospitalisied at Nyangabgwe Referral Hospital in Francistown with a suspected fractured skull after his boss allegedly hit him on the head with a gun handle recently.

The 21-year-old works as a farm hand to the old man at the Tshosane cattlepost. The incident ensued after the victim broke into an argument with his colleague who did not want to share khadi (a traditional brew) with him at a drinking spot. 

The argument elevated into a fistfight and the young man allegedly stabbed his colleague multiple times in the head with a sharp instrument. When his colleague fought back, he rushed into the house and grabbed his boss’ gun.
