Botho University student faces shop breaking, robbery charges

FRANCISTOWN: A Botho University student and two others appeared in court on Tuesday to face a count of shop breaking and robbery each.

The state alleges that the student, Chedu Maswabi, and her accomplices, Ookeditse Mabika and Moitshepi Spencha, broke into Extra Save Super Stores late last year in Tonota and stole goods amounting close to P87,000. 

The goods allegedly stolen by the trio included airtime of the different networks, Okapi knives, tobacco wrappers, toilet paper, corrugated iron, padlocks and cash boxes.
