Thieves have allegedly made away with the Directorate of Intelligence and Security’s (DIS) spying equipment after attacking a man who is believed to be a spook. It is not yet clear where the said agent, who is a politician known to this publication, might have gotten the spying equipment.

He is alleged to have been attacked at a certain club in Molepolole recently.

It is said that the thieves made away with his cellphones, tracking and listening devices. Information reaching The Monitor is that the agent might have been using the equipment to spy on other politicians in his party, especially during the time when he was an opposition member. “It looks like the agent was working for DIS during Isaac Kgosi’s time.
