Septuagenarian rape-murder suspects further remanded

FRANCISTOWN: Two Kgaphamadi men accused of robbing, raping and killing a septuagenarian woman from Area W were remanded in custody when they appeared in court on Monday.

The duo, Modisakgotla Keganeditse, 24, and Moabi Morwalela, 21, are alleged to have robbed Grace Keakantse, 70, of a mobile phone worth P249 at her place of residence in Area W during the wee hours of November 17, 2018 before proceeding to rape and murder her.

The accused appeared before magistrate Kaveri Kapeko for mention, as the substantive magistrate in the matter Kose Makobo was not present.
