Meet the black Chinese poet

When it comes to poetry there are no boundaries, something even Shakespeare would agree with.

Twenty-three-year-old Nametso Phonchi knows no such boundaries when it comes to the art.   She is a multi linguistic poet who leaves the crowd wanting more after she performs. The soft-spoken poet performs spoken word in English mixing it with Chinese and Korean, which make one sit and pay attention to her.  It is no ordinary feat to find a young black woman performing in any of the Asian languages in Botswana.

Phonchi also known as Popo in poetry circles said that she was exposed to Asian languages when she was at Dongguk University in South Korea.
