Fraudsters allegedly scam septuagenarian

A 75-year-old man of Hukuntsi was recently scammed of cash amounting to P10,000 after he was tricked into paying for healing prayers.

Tshane Police Station commander Vusimusi Jorowe confirmed that they are investigating the case. He said his officers are on a manhunt for the three men who scammed the septuagenarian. 

“The trio allegedly reached out to the old man and tricked him into believing that he has a problem that only they could solve through prayer.  They allegedly met the old man and told him of problems that he is facing, prayed for him and told him to pay the sum of P10,000,” he said.
