Gov't develops disability legislation

The government is currently developing a national disability strategy and disability laws as a way of addressing the rights of people living with disability.

The development comes at a time when there has been an outcry that people living with disability are often disadvantaged, and sidelined and their rights stumbled upon.

General counsel from Office of the President, Dittah Molodi said there was a need to protect the rights of people living with disability.
