BDF hosts SADC Military Health Services Work Group exercise

As part of a joint multinational force, the Botswana Defence Force (BDF) will host the first SADC Military Health Services Work Group exercise, in the general area of Maun.

According the deputy director of protocol and public affairs, lieutenant colonel Fana Maswabi, the exercise code-named ‘Ex Pabalelo’ will commence on November 16, 2018 and end on November 29, 2018. 

“The aim of the exercise is to promote interoperability among SADC Military Health Services components to practice combat medical support for the SADC Brigade forces deployed in Peace Support Operations as well as the provisions of humanitarian assistance to communities in the general area of operation,” Maswabi said.
