BAA faces BNSC wrath over Coe visit

The Botswana Athletics Association (BAA) faces the full wrath of the Botswana National Sport Commission (BNSC) over what is seen as protocol breach during the recent visit of IAAF president, Sebastian Coe.

Coe was in the country on Saturday and Sunday, but his high profile visit has set the two sports bodies on a collision course. BAA has been asked to explain why it set up a Local Organising Committee (LOC) without the approval of the BNSC.

Also, the BNSC wants the BAA to explain why it went to the Office of the President (OP) to request for luxury vehicles to transport Coe during his stay.
