Affiliates fight rule on young boxers

Boxing affiliates have knocked down a Botswana Boxing Association (BoBA) rule that seeks to bar young boxers from representing their clubs.

BoBA implemented the rule over the weekend when they barred two young boxers, who are students at Mogoditshane Secondary School, from travelling with their clubs to South Africa.

Tsholofelo Boxing Club chairperson, France Mabiletsa said on the last day, the two boxers did not make the trip.
