The island of St Helena has no university, but only three primary schools and a measly population of 4,500. Despite having only one shared cricket ground, St Helena has, however, proved that dynamite comes in small packages, after going toe-to-toe with vastly populated nations, in the ICC World T20 Africa C qualifiers, which Botswana is hosting. A lazy morning jog can take one right round the entire island nation of St Helena within minutes. Situated 3,000 kilometres off the coast of Cape Town, deep in the Atlantic Ocean, St Helena measures about 16km by 8km, making it one of the smallest inhabited islands in the world.

Up until recently, there was no flight to St Helena meaning, they could only travel by ship to Cape Town to catch connecting flights.
