BIUST launches renewable energy body

The Botswana International University of Science and Technology (BIUST) on Thursday launched the Renewable Energy Association of Botswana (REAB) whose establishment was spearheaded by the Palapye-based University in 2016.

REAB ultimately realised registration in May of this year.

The Network of Excellence in Renewable Energy Technologies for Development (NEED) team at BIUST spearheaded the creation of the Renewable Energy Association of Botswana, leading to the registration of the association, according to a release by BIUST communications director Keoagile Rafifing.
