The International Tennis Federation (ITF) level one coaching course has returned to Botswana after seven years’ absence.

The course, which gets underway this week, is conducted by Pieter Joubert from South Africa, Freeman Nyamukora (Zimbabwe) and Tapiwa Masunga.

Botswana Tennis Association (BTA) vice president, Oaitse Thipe told Monitor Sport that the level one training is for all coaches in schools and clubs. He said the coaches are taught about introducing tennis to children at a young age.
