DIS jet delivery in November

The luxurious PC-24 aircraft purchased from Pilatus Airplanes in Switzerland in 2017 for about U$5 million (about P55 million) purchased by the Directorate of Intelligence and Security (DIS) will be delivered in November 2018.

Botswana will be the first African country to receive this VIP aircraft. It has eight business class seats in VIP configuration and two economy class seats. According to DIS sources, eight pilots are undergoing training in the United States of America (USA).  They travel to the USA every three months for three weeks and are scheduled to collect the PC-24 sometime in November. 

Meanwhile, the DIS director general, Peter Magosi has announced in a media release that Edward Robert will be appointed the agency’s Communications Officer.
