Gunners wait for Zongo's work permit

Babitseng said Zongo had been registered within the off season transfer window, which closed on August 17, but there was further paper work to be processed before the move could be finalised.

“All other paper work has been processed. We are waiting for his work permit and then, he will start playing. He has signed a season long contract, with an option to renew,” Babitseng said.  “He was eligible to register as a free agent, but we did not take that route, as he came here before the transfer window closed.”
