It was clear from the beginning of the meeting that tempers were boiling within the affiliates of Botswana Billiards Confederation (BBC) commonly known as snooker on Saturday.

When the meeting started at Woodland Hotel, BBC president, Terrence Tiroyakgosi said they had taken a last minute decision to change the meeting from an Annual General Meeting (AGM) to a Special General Meeting (SGM).

“We have decided to change this meeting into an SGM because most of our affiliates are not in good standing. “They have not registered with the Registrar of Societies and they have not paid subscription to us. We have informed Botswana National Sport Commission (BNSC) about this state of affairs and they advised us to proceed with an SGM,” Tiroyakgosi said.
