Tshekedi vs BDP judgement due Friday

Judgement in the case which Serowe West Member of Parliament,Tshekedi Khama is challenging the candidancy of Moemedi Dijeng for the Botswana Democratic Party primaries, will be delivered on Friday before Lobatse High Court Judge,Modiri Letsididi.

Khama, who is also the Minister of Environment, Conservation, Natural Resources and Tourism, wants Dijeng barred from contesting in the party's August 25primaries for allegedly contravening rules and regulations in relation to elections.

Earlier today through his attorney, Clement Mazhinye, Khama contended that the matter should be dealt with urgently as he and his voters were likely to suffer prejudice together, should Dijeng be allowed to stand.
