AP Sends Youthful Kelebeng Back Home To Takatokwane

The Alliance for Progressives (AP) youth league president, Jacob Kelebeng, has taken to the harsh competition of rural politics, contesting the Takatokwane constituency in the upcoming general election.

Kelebeng grew up in Motokwe village in the constituency, one of undeveloped areas in the country.

“Our people despite all the hardships are people of high spirits. I never realised that our people were wallowing in abject poverty; our parents were able to insulate us from that reality. “It was only in the latter years of my primary school, after having visited relatives in Gaborone that I realised that life could be so much better for my people than it was.
