Culture & Heritage Botswana Pageant Trust To Send Reps To China

In an interview with Showtime, founder and patron of Mr/Miss Culture & Heritage Botswana Pageant Trust Millicent Shunda said they have scheduled the crowning of the two beauty queens for September 23, 2018. This comes after her organisation was given the rights to organise and select the Miss Tourism and Miss Tourism Queen of the Year International for this year. Miss Tourism Queen of the Year International 2018 world final will be held from November 3 to 18 2018 in Beijing, China while Miss Tourism International 2018 world final will be held from December 5 to 23 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

According to Shunda, preparations for finding the two beauty queens are underway.  “We have been awarded the rights to organise the two beauty pageants. But the invitations got to us late and we are working under pressure to find and select the young women who will represent us at these world finals to be held in November and December respectively,” she said.  “Because of the pressure and limited time and resources, we have made a decision that the crowning of the two beauty queens will be done on the same night.”
