The Office of the President this afternoon released a statement announcing that President Mokgweetsi Masisi will travel to Harare, Zimbabwe on Sunday, August 12, 2018 to attend the Inauguration Ceremony of the President of Zimbabwe, Emmerson Mnangagwa.

The statement also revealed that Former Presidents Festus G. Mogae and Ian Khama will be accompanying President Masisi on the trip adding that they will all be on board the Presidential Jet, OK1, “at His Excellency’s invitation”.

from his successor.

Khama who was this week bashing the Minister of Defence, Justice and Security Shaw Kgathi, will also come face to face with the Bobonong legislator as he is also part of the President’s entourage.

Mnangagwa’s inauguration follows Zimbabwe’s historic elections that were held on July 30, 2018.

President Masisi and delegation will return to Gaborone on the same day.
