Grandson and friend remanded for rape, death of nonagenarian

A 23-year-old young man of Mosenya ward in Serowe and his 19-year-old friend of Tidimalo ward are remanded at Serowe prisons facing allegations of raping a 90-year-old woman who is a grandmother to the former.

The nonagenarian was sleeping at her house where she stayed with his grandson when she was raped.

According to police findings, upon arrival at home, late at night, the grandson and the teenage friend allegedly broke into grandmother's house before they sexually abused her.
