PPADB warns public about fake tenders

The Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Board (PPADB) is concerned about the recent fake tenders purported to originate from the parastatal, which are intentionally circulated to defraud potential bidders.

One such fake tender on circulation is entitled, ‘ITT 15 Dual Alcohol Sensor Measuring Devices PR-PPADB-072’. 

“The Board would like to advice bidders to always be careful and confirm the authenticity of tenders with relevant entities such as PPADB, Procuring Entities, Ministerial Tender Committees or District Administration Committees before committing their time and resources to respond to tenders,” the PPADB public relations and education manager, Charles Keikotlhae said.
