Security Systems Taking No Chances

BOITUMELO KHUTSAFALO
Chikomo PIC: KENNEDY RAMOKONE
After avoiding relegation in the last few games last season, Security Systems are taking no chances this time around if their current transfer business is anything to go by. The Alarm Boys roped in Daniel Nare towards the end of last season after Thaloba Nthaga left following a run of poor results.

Within a short space of time, Nare managed to work his magic and grinded results, which eventually ensured Security Systems retain their Premier League status. Ahead of the new season, Nare has already signed six players who have proven themselves before at different clubs.

He has re-united with three players whom he coached at Orapa United being Kemmy Pilato, Ronald Chikomo and Mosimanegape Robert. The trio did not appear in coach, Bongani Mafu’s plans for next season and were released. Pilato in particular has worked with Nare for a long time dating back to the time when they were with Extension Gunners.

His arrival is expected to boost Systems’ midfield, which was weakened by the departure of Mgcini Sibanda last season. Systems have also captured Thatayaone Ramatlapeng from Mochudi Centre Chiefs as well as Thapelo Tlabakwe from South African side, Jomo Cosmos.

After releasing several high profile players, Orapa United brought in the likes of Onkemetse Powe

from TAFIC, Kelapile Ndlovu, Gofaone Mabaya from Sharps Shooting Stars, Mothusi Johnson from Gaborone United as well as Bophelo Kealeboga from Miscellaneous.

Onkabetse Makgantai has also since left to join South African premiership side, Baroka FC. Orapa had already lost left back, Lesenya Ramoraka to another PSL side, Highlands Park. He has since made his official debut on Saturday against Orlando Pirates.

Notwane are also not taking chances after their return to the Premier League and have already briging changes in their squad. Lesego Lubinda has rejoined the team from Chiefs while Moemedi Moatlhaping has also been brought in to add experience upfront.

Township Rollers have also shown they are not done in the transfer market as yet despite bringing in Mothusi Cooper, Tumisang Orebonye, Jackson Lesole and Thatayaone Ditlhokwe. The league champions have just revealed that Assagou Mongba from Young Africans is on trials with them as they look to further bolster their squad.
