FRANCISTOWN: Botswana Congress Party (BCP) will go on with plans to contest all the council wards in Francistown West at the 2019 general election with the exception of one. Monarch East, a Francistown West ward, was given to the Botswana National Front (BNF).

Mmegi has established that BCP members have started strongly positioning themselves for the primaries in Monarch South, Tatitown and Botsalano.  The BCP primaries are slated for August 18, 2018.
