The Under-17 national team's hopes of reaching the Africa Cup of Nations finals ended at the hands of Namibia in Mauritius today.

The Young Zebras lost the COSAFA Cup group stage tie 2-0 to finish tied on six points with leaders, Namibia and hosts Mauritius, but went out due to an inferior goal difference.

Seychelles finished bottom after losing all three games, while Namibia advanced to the semifinals. Mauritius will hope to progress as the best runners-up.
