Sharps Shooting Stars have been ordered to pay former coach, Pio Paul P61, 000, which accrued in salary arrears. Paul coached the Gaborone side during the 2016/2017 season, leading them to the BTC Premiership from the First Division.

Other former coaches, Razor Tsatsilebe and Michael Mogaladi as well as some players, had also taken the club to court seeking payment. However, the club said it expects to resolve the other matters amicably.

In Paul’s case, the Industrial Court in Gaborone has ordered that Sharps’ property be sold through public auction in order to offset the P61, 130.76 the club owes its former coach.
