Entries about to close for MTF academy

The programme will take place at three regional MTF Academies based in Kenya for East Africa, Nigeria for Western Africa and Zambia for Southern African countries and will be overseen by acclaimed local film and TV industry experts. The Academy directors include Njoki Muhoho for the East Africa Hub, Berry Lwando for the Southern Africa Hub while the West African hub will be under the auspices of Femi Odugbemi, who was recently announced as one of the only 10 “artists and executives who have distinguished themselves by their contributions to theatrical motion pictures”.
Femi and his fellow invitees will bring the number of the coveted membership of the organisation responsible for the Oscars to 928. MultiChoice has invited aspiring young film and TV creatives to submit their entries for the MTF Academy on www.multichoicetalentfactory.com before the deadline on Thursday, July 5, 2018. Following the adjudication process, 60 post-school MTF students (20 for each region) will be selected to hone their television and film production skills in the company of industry experts during the year-long programme that begins on October 1, 2018.
