BFA dismisses TAFIC in Chiefs' case

The Botswana Football Association (BFA) has thrown out TAFIC's complainant over Mochudi Centre Chiefs' affiliation.

The BFA, responding to TAFIC's lawyers, said all its members including Chiefs were in good standing.

"As a prerequisite for participating in the Premier League for the 2017-2018 season, all clubs had to apply for licensing as per the BFA Constitution and Play Rules and Regulation.  To the best of our knowledge, all clubs met the requirements outlined in the relevant statute," read BFA's response.
