BNF exempts Mochudi East from primaries

The Botswana National Front (BNF) central committee (CC) meeting on Tuesday decided to exempt Mochudi East constituency from holding primary elections for MP position.

The BNF CC said going forward they would not hold primary elections in areas where they participated in bye-elections in a space of eight months and less.

Other constituencies that have asked for extension of primary elections in their area include Thamaga/Kumakwane and Gaborone South.
