Police arrested two Zimbabwean men, Nkosana Admire Ngwenya (27) of Ngwenya and Associates and Meshack Nyakaswa (42) of Nyakaswa Legal Services on Tuesday.
Nyakaswa was arrested on suspicions of forgery, and practicing law without proper qualifications, and documentation.
The police revealed that Ngwenya a qualified lawyer is an illegal immigrant who unlawfully remained in Botswana for more than 292 days and has been operating a law firm in Phase 2 location in Gaborone without residence and work permits since September 2017.

The accused persons allegedly have been appearing before Magistrates Courts and High Court and illegally represented more than 450 clients.
They are scheduled to appear before Broadhurst Magistrate Court tomorrow (Thursday) and they are currently in police custody.
