BOMU Carnival Festival A Dismal Failure

The first Botswana Musicians Union (BOMU) carnival music festival that was billed to be a picture-perfect music show failed to live up to expectations.

In an effort to unite the music industry and prove that local artists can pull a crowd, BOMU hosted its first ever all local line-up carnival music festival on Saturday at Trekkers garden in Mogoditshane.

The show was initially scheduled for April 28, 2018 at Stanbic Bank Piazza but was postponed after some stakeholders convinced the organisers that they wanted to take part in the initiative.
