Commonwealth Secretariat confers a prestigious award to Seretse

PRESS STATEMENT: Commonwealth Secretary-General, Patricia Scotland on behalf of the Commonwealth Secretariat, presented a prestigious award to Rose Seretse in recognition of her pioneering contribution to the establishment of the Commonwealth Africa Anti-Corruption Centre in Gaborone, Botswana.

The Centre was established by the Commonwealth Secretariat, in partnership with Government of Botswana, in 2013. Commonwealth Africa member states continue to significantly benefit from the Centre’s numerous Anti-Corruption programmes and tangible capacity improvements have been realized by the Anti-Corruption agencies.

The Centre is the only avenue dedicated for systematic and quality capacity building available to the management and staff Anti-Corruption Agencies in Africa.
