As expected, the event lived up to its billing with artists performing their hits and impressing the crowd. La Timmy performed alongside his usual partner, Guyvos, and the two gave revellers something to cheer about. They played the hype man’s role throughout their set.

When Ditiro Leero got on stage, he did not disappoint. He performed some of the hits from the highly popular Matsieng album Setswana sa borre, which had songs such as Tinto. DT as his fans affectionately call him, fused lyrics from his previous albums with easy, showing his creativity while going along nicely with the background sound track. However, he nearly messed up his performance by spending time talking to fans who were putting up beer bottles on stage.
