Local football fans are in for a treat this evening as log leaders, Township Rollers and second placed, Jwaneng Galaxy are involved in an intriguing title fight.

Rollers play rivals, Extension Gunners at the National Stadium, while just a few metres away, Galaxy face Mochudi Centre Chiefs at the UB Stadium. Rollers hold a two-point advantage over Galaxy heading into the last fixture of the season. Gunners and Chiefs have secured their places in the league after below par displays this season while on the low, they missed out on a top eight finish.

The league title has been a possession of Rollers and Chiefs for close to a decade, creating a fierce rivalry between the two teams. Chiefs' general manager, Clifford Mogomotsi said his side would not do Galaxy any favours. He said the pressure would certainly be on the title contenders and the rivalry between them and Popa would not matter on the evening.
