Motswana arrested for the Boksburg heist

A Motswana man, Thato Gaopatwe is suspected to be one of the suspects involved the infamous R200 million heist at Boksburg, South Africa.

Although Botswana Police Service is not yet in position to confirm the allegations, they told Mmegi that they are following the reports with their South African counterparts.

“Our Interpol confirmed to have picked such reports on Facebook and made an official contact with South African police at Boksburg to be specific to identify if one of the suspects is indeed a Motswana or not,” police spokesperson Jayson Chabota said.
