BCP parliamentary hopefuls in F/town-West to contest for council seats

FRANCISTOWN: Botswana Congress Party (BCP) members who had expressed desire to contest the party's parliamentary primaries in Francistown West have been given an option to contest for council primaries in the constituency.

BCP Francistown region secretary Dickson Dingalo confirmed the development. 

“We are waiting for official communication from the party on the subject. However, I can assure you that the writ will be re-opened. We want those who had wanted to contest the parliamentary primaries to be given an opportunity to apply to contest the council primaries if at all they want to.
