Bondo pays price for COSAFA blunder

Following his bundling of the Zimbabwe versus Madagascar encounter at last year's COSAFA Cup edition, Joshua Bondo has been omitted from this year edition, which kicks off in Polokwane on Sunday.

Bondo was sent home midway through last year's tournament after his questionable handling of the Zimbabwe/Madagascar tie.

The Zimbabwe officials lodged a complaint with the COSAFA Referees Committee, after claiming their team was denied two clear cut penalties.
